Christopher Smith is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of real estate transactions from financing to project management marketing and communications. Mr. Smith was part of original groundbreaking triple bottom line financial services firms Portland Family of Funds and United Fund Advisors of Portland, Oregon, that specialize in structuring financing for sustainable real estate projects in low-income communities.
He led part of team that supported growth from start-up to financing of projects with over $1.1 billion in total cost in 3 years (including $600 mm green buildings), beginning in Portland and moving to national markets. Christopher led teams tasked with marketing, publishing, community outreach, sustainability, research, and project management.
