Mr. Spielberg manages and assists in the development of all of Urban Development & Finance, LLC’s real estate projects as well provides analysis for Urban’s other ongoing concerns and business ventures. He has managed all phases of development for residential and mixed use projects, including market rate for-sale and rental projects as well as affordable developments.
His experience additionally includes managing office, retail, and residential properties. Most recently while working for AMCAL, he collaborated with the CRA of Los Angeles to develop what was to be one of the first tracts of single family homes in South LA in decades. This process included working with various public and private funding sources as well as coordination with other state and local agencies.
Prior to starting his career in development, Mr. Spielberg was a Loan Officer with E*TRADE Financial and a Consultant in IBM’s Global Mid-Market Business Consulting group. Mr. Spielberg earned his MBA from the Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California and holds a BA in Psychology from University of Missouri – Columbia.
